RETIRED ADULTS
Our Retiring Adults page features male and female guinea pigs from my program who are ready now or will be ready for their next homes in the upcoming months. This is a great option for families looking to welcome an older, more established guinea pig rather than a baby, or for those searching for a single male companion.
All retiring adults available through Small4Paws will be listed on this page as they become available, along with their individual information and availability.

Meet Nimbus!
Nimbus is a wonderful young boar with a BIG personality! He is such a fun and entertaining guinea pig, and he has a way of making himself part of whatever is happening around him. Nimbus is incredibly interactive, smart, and curious, and he genuinely enjoys engaging with the people around him.
Nimbus is currently housed in a 24" x 48" Midwest Guinea Pig Habitat with a lid, allthough, you can always go bigger! He is a confident little guy and is often interested in what is going on around him. He loves interacting with his people and is the type of guinea pig who will keep you entertained with his silly personality and curious nature.
When it comes to handling, Nimbus can be a little tricky to catch in his enclosure. Once you have him, however, he is very easy to handle and settles down nicely. He enjoys attention and is much more cooperative once he is in your arms.
One of my favorite things about Nimbus is just how smart and interactive he is. He is always paying attention to what is happening around him and seems to genuinely enjoy figuring things out. He is a guinea pig who likes to be involved rather than simply sitting quietly in the background.
Nimbus would be a wonderful fit for someone who wants a guinea pig with a big personality and lots of character. He is fun, engaging, curious, and incredibly entertaining to get to know. If you are looking for a guinea pig who will keep you laughing, interact with you, and make himself known, Nimbus may be your guy! If you have questions, shoot me a message!
Nimbus is strongly recommended as a SINGLE guinea pig. He is a larger young boar who has already sired litters, meaning he has higher hormone levels and a naturally confident, dominant personality. As he matures, bonding him with another boar may become increasingly difficult and could potentially result in fighting or injury. Because of this, I DO NOT recommend Nimbus for an adopter who is specifically looking for a guinea pig to bond with another male.

NOTICE
Adoption Applications
I am officially reopening adoption applications! Applications may occasionally be closed when I receive a high volume of inquiries, so if you are interested in purchasing, I recommend reaching out sooner rather than later.
Please note: You MUST be in contact with me prior to submitting an application. (DO NOT submit an adoption application before speaking with me first) Applications are only intended for approved applicants who have already been in contact with me.
Any application submitted without prior communication will be discarded and will not be reviewed. This allows me to make sure we are a good fit, answer any questions you may have, and help you find the right guinea pig for your home before you apply.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
